By installing or using the Neba Chrome extension, you agree to these terms.

What Neba is

Neba is a research aid: a chat assistant embedded on Booking.com, Agoda, and Trip.com listing pages that answers questions about a property using AI. It is not a booking service, does not process payments, and has no access to your Booking.com, Agoda, or Trip.com account.

Not travel advice, not a safety guarantee

Neba's answers, including the Neighborhood Snapshot, are AI-generated estimates based on Gemini's general knowledge (and, where available, real geodata described in the privacy policy). They are not verified facts, not professional advice, and not a guarantee of a property's safety, quality, or fit for your trip. AI output may be wrong, outdated, or misleading. Always verify anything safety-related, especially, with official or local sources before booking or traveling.

Usage limits

Neba applies a daily message limit per install, covering both chat messages and Neighborhood Snapshot generation. This limit exists to keep the service free and sustainable; it may change without notice.

Third-party services

Your messages and the page context Neba reads are relayed to Google's Gemini API to generate responses, and, when grounding is active, to Google Maps Platform to look up real nearby places and routes. Both are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent and what is or isn't stored.

No warranty

Neba is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, produce incorrect output, or stop working on a given site if that site changes its page layout.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly. Material changes will also be reflected in this project's CHANGELOG.md.
